Weekly Bulletin

CENTRAL SCHOOL WEEKLY BULLETIN January 27th thru January 31st

Students

Students:  We are proud that our students enjoy attending and supporting our school basketball games.   For basketball games the main gym is not open for student spectators until 3:45.  If students plan on attending the basketball game they must exit the building at dismissal and can enter the main gym for the game only after 3:45.  This provides our coach and both teams with a safe and accommodating time to prepare for the event.

The environmental club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 30th and Feb. 6th until 3.30. – Miss Aimette

Tiger Talk articles are due by Friday, January 31st. – Mr. Gillespie

Attention 8th graders: the yearbook staff is looking for a baby photo from each of you. There will be a collection box in your SS class; please place the photo in the envelope for your class period. Or scan and e-mail them as a jpeg file to Miss Ralston at kralston@longhill.org by February 7th.  Please make sure your name is on it. Thank you.

From Jan 21-Jan 31, Student Council and The Environmental club will be collecting donations for Australia's Veterinary emergency. Every penny counts. For each donation, you get to put a sticker in our collection thermometer. Let's try to fill it up. – Mrs. Barh

If you have not brought in your participation fee for band and chorus, please do so ASAP.  Forms can be found in the main office.

Give Kids a Smile Program
Through the ADA Foundation's Give Kids A Smile program, launched nationally by the American Dental Association in 2003, more than 5 million undeserved children have received free oral health services. These free services are provided by approximately 10,000 dentists annually, along with 30,000 other dental team members.
Each year, here in NJ, more than 100 dental practices and clinics participate in this one-day event. In 2020, Give Kids A Smile day is Friday, February 7.
Visit https://www.njda.org/for-the-public/gkas for more information and to find a local participating dentist.
