For the next book club, we will read the book Refugee by Alan Gratz. We even have a guest host for the event, Mr. Viturello! Sign up in the library and get your copy today. The Refugee Book Club will be held January 25, 2019, during guide. See Ms. Paugh for details.
 
Attention 8th graders: the yearbook staff is looking for a baby photo from each of you. We will collect them after the holiday break. There will be a collection box in your SS class, please place the photo in the envelope for your class period. Or scan and e-mail them as a jpeg file to Miss Ralston at kralston@longhill.org. Please make sure your name is on it. Thank you.

Please see the attached flyer about the Stigma-Free Essay Contest for middle and high school students which is being held by the Boonton United Methodist Church and Montville United Methodist Church. The deadline has been extended until 12/31/18. 

A Dance-A-Thon to stomp out pediatric cancer will be held on Sunday, December 16th from 3:00-6:00pm at the Long Hill Senior Center.  Everyone is invited.  Please see the attached flyers.

All Long Hill Township children pre-K through 8th grade for softball and pre-K through 2nd grade for baseball who are interested in playing spring recreation 2019 baseball/softball are invited to join the Long Hill Baseball & Softball Association’s (LHBSA) winter training/clinics.  Please see the attached flyer.

Central is collecting Christmas lights, wires, cables, extension cords, and the like (working or not) for recycling. Please drop off at the main office or send them in with your child. Collection starts today and ends January 31 2019. Thank you. Mrs. Barth

Attached you will find the sign-up form  for Central Middle School's 2018-19 Extra-Help Availability After School Program. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to receive support of clarification with a specific content area. If interested in signing up, please complete the attached form and return to the main office.  Students may also sign-up as needed throughout the school year. Please contact Ms. Lazirko, School Counselor, with additional questions.

LOCKER LADDERS - the PTO is once again selling Locker Ladders to help students organize & maximize the space in their lockers.  They are $25 each and are currently available in red, purple & pink.  We have ordered black & blue as well and should have them early next week.  See the attached flyer for a picture of the ladder & product specifications.  If interested, please complete the order form & send to school with a check for $25 payable to LHT PTO in an envelope marked "Locker Ladder Order c/o Denise DiSarno".  Any questions, please email Denise at denisesev@yahoo.com.  Thank you!
