Student Council is sponsoring a Central School Spirit Wear sale. See any Student Council member or stop in the office for an order form. Mrs. Barth

School Spirit Day for Friday, February 21st is hat day.  Please no hoods.

Central will be hosting a Coffeehouse Night on Friday, 2/28 at 7pm in the APR.  If you are interested in performing (singing, playing an instrument, reading a poetry or dramatic reading, doing stand-up comedy, drawing/painting, telling jokes, etc.), sign-ups are in the main office.

Coffeehouse Night:  Central Middle School will host its First Annual Coffeehouse Night on Friday, February 28th at 7pm.  Share your talents in a casual and fun environment while supporting the arts in our school.  Families welcome. See attached flyer for details.

CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL 7th Grade Victorian Day
Grade 7 students are preparing for Victorian Day which will be held on February 20, 2020 with a snow date of February 27, 2020.  Food will be catered by SHOPRITE and consist of: water, bagels with cream cheese and butter, ham/cheese sandwiches, turkey/cheese sandwiches, and sliced cucumbers.  Packaged mayonnaise and mustard will be available.  Oreos and Rice Krispie Treats will be served for dessert.  No food or desserts will be provided from home.   Parents are to contact SHOPRITE directly with questions/concerns about food ingredients and/or allergy/contamination questions.  If you are unsure if the food is safe for your child please provide your child’s lunch the day of the Victorian Day celebration.


If you have not brought in your participation fee for band and chorus, please do so ASAP.  Please see the attached forms.

Please see the information below from Watchung Hills Regional High School regarding the "Freshman For A Day Program". 
Freshman For A Day:  This program runs from February 12 to March 12, 2020 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Freshman for a Day forms are located on the school’s website.  All forms must be received at least one week prior to the date the student will be visiting pending approval by Mr. Flakker, vice principal of the freshman class. Any student who comes to school without prior permission will remain in the Main Office where a parent will be called to pick up the student immediately. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Flakker at (908) 647-4800 ext. 6975 or email: jflakker@whrhs.org.
Any student who is visiting the school without prior permission will remain in the Main Office until a parent or guardian comes to pick up the student.

LOCKER LADDERS - the PTO is once again selling Locker Ladders to help students organize & maximize the space in their lockers.  They are $25 each and are currently available in black, blue, red, purple & pink.   If interested, please bring a check to the Main Office for $25 payable to LHT PTO in an envelope marked "Locker Ladder Order".  Thank you!
